Fire and floods defined a wet spring that produced excess dry growth across Swan Hill.
The Swan Hill Aerodrome recorded close to 50 millimetres above the long-term average for spring thanks to a drenching of 89mm in September, 29.8mm in October and 22.4 mm last month.
Despite November’s rainfall adding to a spring total of 140.2 mm, the month’s total was 19.9 mm short of the average.
The long-term average for spring is 93.4 mm.
It rained across five days in November, with the highest 24-hour falls of 12.2 mm recorded on November 23.
