Jugs And Thugs break hoodoo

JUGS And Thugs have finally broken their losing streak after beating newcomers Team Domination 16-13 in Stadium Night Netball.

The mixed side have struggled to find their best form on court but broke their duck during the first round of the summer season.

Led by Julian Bishop, the narrow win will give the side hope going forward for the season.

In other mixed results, the Titans thumped Jager Bombs 32-11 as Jaclyn Clark led the way in their win.

Jackson Burrell tried his best to get his side on the front foot but it wasn’t to be as the reigning premiers got their season off to a flying start.

The MM Seals started their mixed tournament with an 28-10 win over TTS.

Centre Courtney Atkins was consistent through the middle, which allowed her side to put pressure on newcomers TTS.

In the women’s division, the Bombers defeated Snapstreaks 44-20.

The side will look to continue their form and stay atop the ladder in the summer league.

The Bombers were preseason favourites after they went close to the flag last season only to lose out to Swoopers who did not return.

Jewels and Nine-Nine fought a hard battle as the former ran away for an 18-14 win.
