Moore’s prospects on the rise

AT JUST 13 years old, Nyawi Moore is being seen as a safe bet to become a future star by Basketball Victoria coaches.

He was picked in the Victoria Country Under 16 All State Combine Squad to train in Melbourne next month. Nyawi was the only Swan Hill Flyer picked as part of the camp for top prospects.

He said it was a special feeling and that he would be lost without mum Maisie.

“I am pretty happy to be picked because I got selected to play basketball and it is my favourite sport which is exciting,” he told The Guardian.
