WOORINEN Tigers Youth Girls Football side are back training ready to defend their Bendigo Junior Football League title.
The Tigers got a strong response to their training on Tuesday night before sign ups following the session.
The side will have at least 22 girls interested in playing with the goal to have 28 registered, ready to play.
Woorinen Tigers’ Brenten Hogan said the side would be bolstered by new players this season.
“We are going to have a go at back to back titles, we have key position players like Eden Zanker this year too,” he said.
“We are happy girls are showing an interest in football and they can’t wait to give it a go.
“We are very pleased to be representing the region.”
Training is Tuesdays from 4.30pm at Tower Hill with anyone interested welcome.
