BEFORE passing away, Karl Jacka was organising a trip for his football club, Rutherglen, to head to New South Wales and train at his old football club and in his home town of Balranald.

Despite the 35-year-old tragically losing his battle with stomach cancer in January, the training camp went ahead in his honour at the weekend.

The Barlanald Roos hosted the Rutherglen Cats for their training which was followed by a practice match.

Wife Cristy and daughter Lucy were in attendance as both clubs spoke about the man Karl was.
