Headspace round an overwhelming success

The inaugural Headspace Round has been dubbed a rousing success with strong support shown at sporting venues across the Central Murray on Saturday.

The round was used as an opportunity for clubs to be provided with resources to assist in aiding anybody affected by mental health issues while also promoting the work Headspace does within the community.

During the round, players were identified to receive the specially branded match balls following the game.The players were selected were deemed to have shown the Headspace spirit by showing resilience, inclusiveness or being an all-round player.

“It was a fantastic weekend,” AFL CM Regional Operations Manager David Alderuccio said.
