Police find drugs in two separate searches

Drug find

POLICE found MDMA, cocaine and cannabis in searches of properties in Brown Street and Melore Grove, Swan Hill. A man was later remanded in custody.


Meth in car

POLICE found drugs when searching a car at Lake Boga on the Murray Valley Highway on July 15. The crystal methamphetamine, resealable bags and scales were in a bag. The bag’s owner was taken to Swan Hill police station.

Counterfeit note


A $10 note used to buy a bottle of wine in Robinvale on July 12 was later found to be fraudulent. Victoria Police and Australian Federal Police investigated.


Ute stolen

THIEVES stole a grey Holden Colorado ute from Bogadjim Road, Robinvale, between July 10 and 12. A Kings Double swag and fishing rods were in the ute, which was locked at the time.


Motorbike found

A YELLOW Suzuki motorcycle has been recovered after it was stolen from a side shed in Sebastian Close, Swan Hill, on July 11 or 12. The motorcycle was found partly hidden near the local cemetery. A Stihl chainsaw and smaller items were taken from a ute.


Gardening heist

A THIEF took a battery-operated Stihl chainsaw, blower vac and lawn mower from a garden shed at the rear of a Wattie Street, Swan Hill, property.


Brick attack

AN OFFENDER threw two bricks at a Hoar Street, Swan Hill, house, breaking the loungeroom window. A television stand was also smashed.
