Man threatened

A MAN woke to a group of men threatening him in his own home.

The victim was asleep in his Robinvale home when he woke to a group of males who threatened him and made demands, about 11pm on April 29.

It is believed they accessed the home through an unlocked door.


Tools stolen

TOOLS were stolen from a utility parked at a Pental Island property late last month.

Items were taken from the rear of the vehicle at the front of a Pental Island Road property, between 6pm and 7pm on April 25.

The stolen items included a Snap-on branded light and rattle gun, socket set, screwdriver set and other various tools.


Suspicious fire

POLICE are investigating a suspicious fire at Nyah West.

The fire started at a property in Elizabeth Street about 3.30am on April 26.

It’s unknown if damage was reported.


Ute missing

A UTE was stolen from a Pira address, west of Swan Hill, late last month.

The white Hilux utility was stolen from an address on Chillingollah Road between 6pm on April 27 and 7am the following day.

A yellow spray unit was on the back and a red 44-gallon drum of mouse bait and a blue tool box was on the tray of the ute at the time of the theft.


Rego plates removed

REGISTRATION plates were removed from a vehicle parked in Robinvale.

The plates were taken from the vehicle parked at an address on Madang Road some time on April 30.


Money taken

MORE than $5000 was removed from a victim’s bank account.

Police said a 38-year-old male accessed the victim’s bank account and removed the money, between March 22 and April 25.

A man was arrested at a Sea Lake address on April 26.

He was charged with deception offences and bailed to attend court at a later date.
