LAKE Boga have two wins from two matches after a convincing 22-point win over Nyah-Nyah West United.
The Magpies were able to get an early jump on the Demons, finding themselves ahead by 11 points at the first break, and extending that lead to 15 by half-time.
Midcourter Madison Jones was one of the Demons’ best against the Magpies, putting out a consistent four quarters and demonstrating her leadership skills, particularly through her talk on the court throughout the game.
Demons coach Laura Anderson said it was a tough match in general against quality opponents.
“There are a lot of positives to take out of the game and a few things to work on during the week at training before another tough game against Kerang,” she said.
While the Demons will host Kerang in round 3, the Magpies will travel to Cohuna to take on the Kangas.
