TAFE students’ hard work brings results

THE hard work of SuniTAFE Swan Hill students was acknowledged at their annual graduation and awards ceremony last week.

The event, held at Swan Hill Town Hall, recognised the determination of students for the 2022 academic year, as well as acknowledging the employers, parents, friends and family who supported the students throughout their studies and contributed to their successes.

Twenty-three students based at the Swan Hill campus graduated in three diploma qualifications at the Swan Hill campus, including Diploma of Nursing graduate Maggie Gibson, who also received the Board Excellence Award.

“Nursing is already a rewarding career, and when you add on top the award for your studies, it is really rewarding to see your work be recognised like that,” Ms Gibson told The Guardian.

The SuniTAFE board and staff said they were grateful for the support of all the award sponsors and were proud of all the graduating students and award winners.
