Vehicle targeted

POLICE alleged an offender failed in their attempt to gain entry to a vehicle parked in Robinvale.

The incident happened about 1.45am on January 2 in Donald Street.


Refreshing drink for intruder

BINOCULARS were damaged after an offender gained access to a building within the Swan Hill racecourse precinct.

Swan Hill police said the incident happened some time between 8am on January 4 and 5am the following day.

A drink found at the property was also consumed


Drug possession

A MAN has a date with court after allegedly being in possession of drugs.

The accused was intercepted by police while riding a bicycle in Murlong Street about 9.45am on January 2.

He was found in possession of cannabis and methamphetamine.

The 40-year-old was arrested, charged and bailed in relation to trafficking methamphetamine, possessing cannabis and deal with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.

He will attend court at a later date.


Header fire

A HEADER was damaged in a Culgoa fire last week.

The fire started about 3pm on January 7 during harvest at property on Caseys Road.

The owners of the property was able to extinguish the stubble fire before too it spread too far.

Local CFA brigades also attended and extinguished the header.

The driver was shaken but uninjured.


Items stolen

A NUMBER of items were reported missing from a Sea Lake home.

The offender allegedly gained entry to a Hannon Street property some time between 7am and 7pm on January 6.

Televisions and computers were reported stolen from the address.
