Tigers charging for threepeat

FOOTBALL

SEA Lake Nandaly continued their winning ways in the 2024 season, finishing on top of the table and going all the way to become the 2024 premiers of North Central Football League.

They did win the flag, despite going the longer route by losing in the semi-final against Birchip-Watchem Bulls.

The Tigers then prevailed against Wedderburn in the preliminary final before they defeated the Bulls in the grand final by 13 points.

Sea Lake Nandaly will look for the threepeat this season which hasn’t been done since the early 2010s when Wedderburn won four-in-a-row.

The Tigers side will go into the season with some changes, but they have regained the majority of their players during their premiership winning season.

Bryce Delmenico spoke about the changes for Sea Lake Nandaly.

“Yeah, not too many changes for us, we had eight players leave the club and nine new players joining the Tigers,” Delmeico said.

“Six players that missed last years grand final due to injury will also be joining back with us this season, interested to see how they go.”

Billy Brownless’ son Oscar who featured with the Geelong Cats will be joining Sea Lake Nandaly this season.

Swan Hill’s Jarvis Keogh will also be joining the Tigers for the 2025 season.

Providing that Sea Lake Nandaly stay fit for the whole season, they will be a strong team who will be pushing for that third straight title.
