Anna Archie – 2022 CMFNL Netball Coach of the Year

Anna Archie is the Central Murray Football Netball League Netball Coach of the Year for season 2022.

While her first two years at the club were impacted by COVID, under her leadership and guidance as head coach, Lake Boga have thrived.

Anna takes her position seriously and ensures that all coaches at the club are supported, always giving them the necessary time to discuss matches, talk strategies, provide assistance for training, give feedback or simply to just have a chat.

When a coach is unavailable, she is the first to step up and fill that spot.

Her support is not limited to just coaches, as she is heavily invested in all players and umpires. Anna not only coached the Lake Boga A Grade team this year, but also the youngest group of future netball stars, coaching their NetSetGo program.

Anna loves seeing everyone out there enjoying the game, giving their best and developing along the way. She has a strong rapport and respect both on and off the court with all members and encourages good sportsmanship and positive behaviour.

Anna is also first to put her hand up to fill volunteer roles and umpiring duties when needed. With a full season under her belt, Lake Boga’s A Grade team has excelled and competed in their first finals series in many years. Not only that, six of their seven competing netball sides played finals as well.

Congratulations Anna, a deserving winner of a very prestigious award.
