Robinvale art on display

ROBINVALE will be on display in Red Cliffs next week, as the Robinvale Art Group showcases its talent to the town.

Robinvale Art Group members will exhibit An Electric Collection at Workspace 3496 on Sunday (next week), following the Red Cliffs Country Market.

The exhibition will feature work from group members Rhonda Avery, Jackie Cousins, Tara Parish and Val Tucker.

Ms Avery said many talented and creative artists lived in Robinvale and the arts group had a long history in the town.

She said the members were always working on their art and improving their skills.

“Going to art camps added to our knowledge and experiences,” she said.

“Night classes and weekend workshops all gave us valuable practice and skills.”

The group meet monthly and have their own gallery and workspace in Robinvale.

Workspace 3496 artistic director Rohan Morris said it was fantastic to be opening the location’s third exhibition since July.

“The space continues to showcase works by local artists across the region, now shining a light on Robinvale,” he said.

“Showing this body of work from the Robinvale Art Group confirms our commitment to small towns in the Mallee and the artists who reside in them.

“It’s been wonderful to see the support from locals and through tourism for the gallery and that of our local talent.”
