BALRANALD MPS COVID-19 vaccination clinic will open Monday to Friday starting next week.
The new hours will begin, Tuesday, August 30, from 11am to 5.30pm, at the old Emergency Department in Market Street.
The extended operating days and hours are in response to feedback from the public, who said they had difficulty attending the vaccination clinic when only open on a Wednesday. The extension of hours will also assist those with school-aged children.
The COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots are free.
The best way people can protect themselves from serious illness or worse is to get every vaccination, whether that is their second, third, or fourth dose.
Walk ins are welcome, but people can also use the Vaccine Clinic Finder to find and book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
