Scouts earn SES badge

Lake Boga Scouts have spent the past few weeks earning their scout SES badge with the assistance of the Swan Hill SES Unit.

The scouts had to cover several requirements to earn the badge. This included visiting the SES unit, learning some new knots, and learning how to get a home storm ready. The scouts learned some new skills using some power tools and building a sandbag wall.

Julie Jochs, Jodie Preston, Rod Knight, and Anthony Vanheumen took time out of their busy schedules to visit the scout troop to personally present the SES badges.
