Elsteel and Roofing Mixed Fours was played on April 8, winners were Ross Smith, Kevin Vivian, Carol Smith and Robert Rust.
Following the bowls, the club held its presentation night for the club events as Helen Frame and Mick Holyoak won their respective singles championships.
Mikaela Evans and Norm Smith won the 100Up, and Ladies’ Pairs was won by Val Lindsay and Kaye Roberts while The Club Triples went to Norm Smith, Shane Domaille and Roy Jones.
Still to be completed are the Men’s Pairs and Mixed Pairs.
Jackpot bowls last week on April 13 was won by Norm Smith, Harry Watts and Phil Parry on +30 shots, runners-up were Glenn McIntosh, Andrew McKay and Helen Frame on +8.
Jackpot bowls on April 20 was won by Graeme Bennett, Val Lindsay and Max Renney on +26 shots, runners-up were Bryan Bice, Ian Lockhart and Kevin Saville on +12 shots.
Our next club event is on Anzac Day, it’s an honour board event for the RSL club and Three Arms Bistro and is an Any Combination Triples day, with a 1pm start.
There is an RSL service at 12:30pm, and all proceeds from the raffle will go to the RSL.
All members are asked to bring a small prize for the raffle, and a plate for afternoon tea.
Tomorrow is our club’s 50 year anniversary celebration, and many people have accepted the invitation to return to the club from all round the state.
The day will start at 11am with a welcoming get-together, followed by a light lunch.
There will be bowls starting at 1pm for those who like exercise while those of a social bent can continue to catch up with old friends throughout the afternoon.
SWAN HILL
Perfect weather on Friday and Saturday made the Easter Carnival a great success.
Thanks to members who gave their time to play and work to make Easter a success and sincere thanks to the RSL for their sponsorship and results can be seen in the sports section of today’s Guardian.
Our greens and club facilities were enjoyed by barefoot bowlers on Easter Saturday and hopefully some new bowlers will take on our great game in the future.
Wednesday social bowls is well supported, winners on April 13 were John Jobson (Woomelang) and Kessada Smith while on May 20 it was John Jobson and Heather Smith.
Friday Frolic is on today at 3pm and everyone is welcome, next week April 29 our Presentation of Club events will follow bowls.
Our May Carnival starts on Saturday May 7 and continues for 10 days and there will be some great tournaments to be enjoyed by many enthusiastic visitors.

LAKE BOGA
This Saturday and Sunday we have our two-day Catalina Classic Bowl Triples, with players from a wide area of Victoria we should see some competitive bowls.
Next Wednesday at 7pm we have our annual meeting, please come along and support our club everyone is welcome.
Winners of social bowls on Wednesday was Ian Ross, Ray Leach and Bones Smith, on duty next week is Ken Hamill.
Jackpot bowls winners last Saturday were Greg Clifford, Bob McIntosh, and Peter Holland, runners-up were Mick Tempini, Ron Atkinson, and Helen Jobling.
The jackpot was not won so next week Saturday 30 April it will be $282.
There will be no Jackpot tomorrow as we have our Catalina Classic tournament.
