Social bowls was enjoyed in more pleasant weather Wednesday afternoon after an extended run of scorching temperatures.
The winners were Rod Wardle and Ken Grey as Alex Smith and Kevin Sibley finished a close second.
We look forward to more bowlers taking part as the word spreads around the club.
The Easter Carnival starts on Good Friday with A/C pairs, Saturday A/C 2 bowl triples and Monday A/C 3 bowl triples.
The starting time will be 12.30pm on each day and entries need to be in by 10am to Bill King on 0428 324 083 or the clubhouse on 5032 1772.
The popular May Carnival starts on Saturday, May 7, until Tuesday, May 17, and entry forms are in the Clubhouse.

Friday Frolic is on again today and names need to be in by 2:30pm for a 3pm start .
LAKE BOGA
Last Thursday was the last night for the Novice bowls.
Winners for the novice night season were Awesome Foursome consisting of Terry Haw, Ray Leach, Jean Leach and Lynn Maher, congratulations to the winners and thanks to all the players for making it such a successful season.
The next two Thursday nights will be fundraising nights, Lake Boga Fire Brigade on March 30, then on April 7 proceeds will go to MND Research.

Saturday’s Jackpot was won by Noel Hender, Ron Atkinson and John Pye, runners-up were Shirley Swan and Phil Parry.
The Jackpot tomorrow will be $93, names need to be in by 12:30pm for a 1pm start.
Wednesday’s social bowls was won by Ray Leach, Helen Jobling and Billy King, runners-up were Barrie Free, Richard Bruton and Faye Atkinson.
The finals of both 100 Up, will be played at 2pm on Sunday, Shirley Swan and Kathy Clifford in the ladies and Peter Philp and Ken Hamill in the men.
