SMALL schools in the region got together recently for a fun day of activities aimed at promoting social skills for students.
Lake Boga, Woorinen District, Nyah District and Beverford District primary schools, as well as Son Centre Christian College and Manangatang P-12 College all had students in attendance.
Organiser Jono Dickinson said the day was part of an ongoing relationship between the schools that provided students the opportunities to broaden their interaction.
“Each school has brought along an activity that the students will take part in,” Mr Dickinson said.
Ball games, drawing and circus games were just some of the activities students took part in, giving them a chance to participate in activities which they may not usually get to experience.
The days have been one of the only events that the schools have been able to put on over the last two years due to restrictions and lockdowns.
