Motor vehicle missing

POLICE are investigating the alleged theft of a motor vehicle in Robinvale early this month.

Swan Hill police said the white 2008 Yamaha XT250, with the registration IN094, went missing between November 27 and December 4 from a property on Hattah-Robinvale Road.

Break-in attempt

WITNESSES are sought after someone allegedly attempted to break into a Sea Lake address early this month.

Police believe offenders targeted the Cunningham Street property between November 22 and December 6.

They kicked the front door causing damage before forcing it open.

It appeared nothing was stolen.

Police chasing up with offender

A MAN will be quizzed by police after his “reckless” driving antics were described by police as “endangering life”.

Police said on December 12 about 2.15am a male driver in a white Holden Rodeo utility exited the Woolworths car park into Campbell Street at high speed.

“Then coming to a complete stop, revving his engine and hanging out of vehicle window,” a police spokesperson said.

“He has then taken off at a fast rate north along Campbell Street.

“Details of driver have been obtained and is to be interviewed by police.”

A CYCLIST didn’t get far when he attempted to evade police after being searched for illegal drugs.

The man was observed riding along Gray Street on December 11.

He was intercepted and located in his bag was drug use paraphernalia.

He was informed he would be further searched for illicit drugs.

The alleged offender took off on his bicycle before police gave chase and caught up with him a few metres away.

He was searched and a quantity of white crystal powder was located in his belongings.

He was arrested and processed at the Swan Hill police station.

Shop steal duo

TWO women were arrested over alleged shop theft from a Swan Hill business.

The pair entered the Campbell Street shop on December 8 and selected a number of items and placed them in a bag.

They walked out of the shop making no attempt to pay for the goods.

POLICE are investigating the alleged theft of a pair of canoe foot pedals from a Swan Hill address.

The incident happened between November 27 and December 6 at a Guardian Court address.

The item was taken from an unlocked garage.
