Man imprisoned
A MAN was sentenced to 14 days’ jail over the theft of a bicycle in Swan Hill.
The bicycle was stolen from a Fulford Court address on November 22.
Police found a 38-year-old male in possession of the bicycle a short time later.
The bike was returned to the owner.
The male was arrested in relation to the theft and other matters.
He was remanded in custody and appeared in court the following day.
He was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment.
Driveway damaged
A PRIVATE driveway has been damaged after dirt bikes were allegedly used to perform doughnuts on it.
Police said the incident happened between 8pm and 10pm on November 27.
The unknown riders travelled up the victim’s driveway in Scown Road, Tresco, before performing the doughnuts.
The driveway is in need of repair. Rocks thrown
TWO youths will be interviewed after allegedly throwing rocks over a fence and damaging a window in Swan Hill early this week.
Police were called to an address in Tower Avenue, Swan Hill, about 3am on November 27.
Rocks were being thrown over the fence, with one hitting and breaking a window.
Police identified where the rocks were coming from and two young people will be interviewed at a later date.
Teens arrested
POLICE issued cautions to two teens after they allegedly stole from a business.
The two youths, both 15 years of age, were arrested on November 25 over the theft from a clothing store.
They both received an official caution.
