IN the A grade Leitchville Gunbower batted first against Kyabram Fire Brigade and were dismissed for 51.

Tyler Jones was the top scorer with 13 and the next best was 6.

Jackson Barnett took 4 for 11.

Leitchville Gunbower only used 32 of the allotted 45 overs.

Kyabram Fire Brigade scored the runs while losing 3 wickets in 16 overs.

Leitchville Gunbower B grade scored 9 for 114 but were defeated by Rushworth in a tight finish.

Rushworth made 6 for 115 in 38 overs.

Scott Lucas made 29 and Steve Gibson got 27.

Lucas also took 3 for 25.

Nondies Cohuna A grade had the bye.

Their B grade bowled first and were chasing 83 against Stanhope.

Mitch Treacy took 5 for 23 to be the standout bowler.

Nondies Cohuna only managed 68 with 5 players making ducks.

Peter Moore top scored with 26.

C grade batted first and were dismissed for 53.

Will Cooke made 18 after opening and being the last batter out.

Sukhinder Bhinder was next best with 8 off 9 balls.

Girgarre lost 3 wickets and chased down the score in 15 overs.

It was great to see both A and B grade have wins on Saturday.

Daniel Clements scored a swashbuckling 76 and Brad Griffiths lent good support with 58.

B grade looked in trouble at 4 for 33, but Hancock saved the day with an unbeaten 85 and Daniel Coates made 35.

Coates backed it up with the ball and took 4 for 23.

Aaron Wilson took 3 for 7 and his good mate Zac Poole took 3 fine catches including a rebound.

We returned to our new clubrooms for Junior Presentation Night.

The Under 17 awards went to Riley Hird (Most Runs), Tim Johnson (Most Wickets) and Oscar Cooke (All Rounder).

Zeb Ellwood won all three trophies and Jackson Gray shared the Most Wickets trophy with Zeb.

A grade have the bye this week so they have finished for the season.

B grade travel to play Wandella and are still fighting for fourth spot on the ladder.

On Thursday after training tea will be lasagne, chips and salad.

A grade posted a good score (189) but Barham Koondrook managed to overhaul it.

Daniel Cooke made 69 and Ian Mathers got 67.

B grade were short and thanks go to Lee Simmonds, Trevor Hird, Willem Richardson and Dylan Hird for filling in. Zeb and Alec also did a great job sub fielding when Browny went down with another hamstring. The score of 119 was enough in a close game against Leitchville Gunbower.

Our junior teams were both beaten and missed out on finals action.

Presentation night for Under 17s and 14s will be on Saturday night starting at 7pm at our rooms.

There will be a barbecue tea.

All Under 17 and 14 players can participate in a game on Thursday night at 4.15pm on our oval.

On Saturday, A grade play in Gunbower and B grade in Kerang.

Next Saturday sees Nondies Cohuna A grade travel to play Echuca South, while B and C grade are at home against Northern United.

Leitchville Gunbower’s A grade are at home to Bamawm Lockington United and their B grade travel to Bamawm.
