WOORINEN set up a blockbuster Round 4 encounter against the Mallee Eagles, with a strong 18-goal win over Nyah-Nyah West United in wet conditions on Friday.
The Tigers blew the game open in the first 15 minutes, outscoring the Demons 14-goals to four to effectively end the match as a contest at the first break.
To their credit, NNW United responded in the second quarter, reducing the margin to eight goals at half-time, but were unable to fight their way back into the game after the main break, going down 44-26.
Willow Conlan was impressive at goal attack for Woorinen, with her passing into Tayla Bennett, combined with her 15 goals earning her best on court honours for the Tigers, while Chloe Militto was also strong through the midcourt.
For the Demons, Taylen Blachford worked hard in defence after starting the game at goal shooter, while Matika Mitchell was clean with the ball despite the wet conditions in the centre.
