Responder assaulted

AN ambulance officer was assaulted by a man when she and police responded to a Warlen Avenue address on April 22.

The ambulance officer was preparing to treat the substance-affected man, who became agitated and demanded to be seated in the ambulance.

When the officer asked the man to wait by the door, the male offender allegedly spat at the ambulance officer, striking her in the stomach area.

The man was arrested and processed for assaulting an emergency services officer and other matters.

Meat thieves

A MAN who attended a Swan Hill supermarket on April 30 was seen placing a pork roast and a cooked chicken into his backpack before leaving the store with a female companion without paying for the items.

The two offenders have been identified and will be apprehended by police.

Toilet graffiti

AN offender used a black permanent marker to graffiti a wall of the McCallum Street public toilets on April 28 or 29.

The female offender was identified and processed at the Swan Hill police station.
