SATURDAY

8am: Lake Boga Foreshore parkrun. A free, fun and friendly weekly 5km community event. Register your first run by email at lakebogaforeshore@parkrun.com.

9am-noon: Kerang Community Market at Atkinson Park featuring fresh produce, plants, crafts, bric-a-brac, jams, sauces and preserves. Free entry.

4pm-7pm: Summer Twilight Arts Market at Swan Hill Town Hall. Enjoy wandering among the many stalls, makers and creators showcasing their handmade products. Sit back and relax afterwards in the outdoor area or inside at Mully’s Place to enjoy culinary delights and drinks, while being entertained with acoustic live music. Free event.

4pm-7pm: Live music at Mully’s Place featuring Grim Fawkner.

5.30pm: Sonic Speedway’s Compact Speedcars Vic Title, Vic Formula 500 senior and junior “600 Series R7”, SDAV Hot Rods, local support classes. Entry: adults $25, concession $20, children 10-16 years $10, under 10 free. More details at www.swanhillspeedway.com.

6pm: Swan Hill RSL Club’s themed French buffet.

12.15pm: Lions Club charity day at Murray Downs Golf & Country Club. Team of four Irish Stableford (best three of four scores count per hole). Teams can be made up of any combination. Assembly/shotgun start at 12.15pm. Cost is $25 per person and includes barbecue lunch.

2pm-4pm: Swan Hill Ukulele Group at Swan Hill Club.

2pm-5pm: Live music at Swan Hill Club featuring That Guy.


MONDAY

9.30am-noon: Craft group with Murray Valley CWA at Swan Hill Neighbourhood House. Costs vary each month.


TUESDAY

7pm: Barfoot bowls at Murray Downs Golf & Country Club. Teams of three people. Cost is $5 per player.

7.15pm: Bingo at Tooleybuc Sporting Club.


THURSDAY

11.30am: Bingo at Tooeybuc Sporting Club.


ALL MONTH

February 17-April 14 (Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday, 10am-4pm): Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery exhibitions Yarrein Mud Lyric. The ceramics of potter Liz Maddy and the poetry of her friend and neighbour Verity Oswin come together in a sustained mixed media exploration of the pastoral and Riverina landscape they live in.
