9am-noon: Anglican Boot Sale and Cottage Craft at the Anglican Function Centre. A large variety of stalls including books, household items, craft, fruit, honey, plants and vegetables. Barbecue and Joan’s scones.
All day: Central Murray Football Netball League round 12 (Road Safety Round) – Tyntynder v Woorinen, Cohuna v Koondrook-Barham, NNW United v Lake Boga, Mallee Eagles v Kerang, Tooleybuc-Manangatang v Swan Hill. Balranald has the bye.
SUNDAY
10am-noon: Repair Cafe. Sharing the lost art of repairing, by donation. Volunteers help to repair household items. Learn new skills and avoid items going to landfill. Email repaircafe@shnh.org.au for more details.
11am: Lake Boga Park and Brag in the main street of Lake Boga. Park up from 11am. Just a gathering of like-minded people who want to show off their toys. Anything with a rumble; cars, bikes, trucks, tractors anything with an engine is welcome.
2pm-6pm: Winter Twilight Arts Market at Swan Hill Town Hall. Stalls inside the auditorium, an exhibition on the mezzanine level, entertainment on stage, food to be enjoyed inside or rug up and sit outside under the fairy lights. 2.30pm: Swan Hill Genealogical and Historical Society July meeting at Swan Hill Regional Library. Enter by the rear door only. Speaker is member Marg Scala on Betsy Trewhella, whose story, Over the Log, is about her memories and experiences when left alone in Cornwall and then coming to Australia with three children.
