Burglary charges

POLICE are investigating incidents in Quambatook, including the alleged theft of a tractor and caravan.

Swan Hill detectives executed a search warrant at a rural address in the Quambatook area on September 17. A tractor stolen from the Boort area was allegedly found at the address.

A 19-year-old male was arrested, charged with numerous burglaries including incidents at the Quambatook cemetery and Swan Hill car washes, along with the tractor theft.

He was bailed to attend court at a later date.

On September 21, a motorcycle was stolen from a Normanville property.

It was allegedly recovered at a Kerang address later that day.

The same 19-year-old male was arrested in relation to that theft on September 23.

A search warrant was executed at the same Quambatook address and a caravan reported stolen earlier that day was allegedly recovered.

The male was remanded by police and appeared in court the following day.

He was bailed with conditions from the Magistrates’ Court.
