RETURNING to Ultima for the first time in six years, A Grade coach Tayla Foster is believes the club is set to have a great year.
“I can already feel the bond and excitement building amongst the girls,” she said.
“We’re working hard at getting match ready, building some good structures on and off the court and getting pumped for a great season ahead.”
Foster said she hopes the Roos can be successful both on and off the court this season.
“My particular focus is on improving a little more each week, building a strong foundation between our junior and senior netballers, and of course have as much fun as we can,” she said.
The Roos will be able to field all their netball grades this season. Coaching B Grade will be Kylie Kelly, while B Reserves will be led by Marie Macumber.
“I’m feeling very grateful to be welcomed back to Ultima with open arms and a lot of support this year,” Foster said.
“I’m looking forward to a great season with a bunch of really talented and fun girls.”
PLAYER TO WATCH
Set to play their first year of senior netball this season, Foster believes young guns Kobe Davison, Lily Grey and Emily Edwards will hit the court running. “I can see a lot of potential for them to continue moving from strength to strength in their netball,” Foster said. “They’ve all had very successful junior years and I can’t wait to see them take to the senior court this year.”
