A TEENAGER was assaulted by a group of four youths in Swan Hill earlier this month.
Police were told the boy was jogging when he was set upon outside a bank on Campbell Street about 8.50pm on March 4.
The incident was recorded by the youths.
The victim managed to flee and call police.
Police said no security cameras in the area captured the assault.
Shoplifter identified
AN accused shoplifter failed to scan more than a dozen items at a Swan Hill supermarket earlier this month.
The woman scanned about 30 items, but failed to scan 13 others at the Coles supermarket on March 4.
She packed the groceries into a bag and paid only for the scanned items.
The store manager reported the matter to police, who recovered CCTV footage and identified the offender.
She was yet to be interviewed.
Tractor theft
A VINTAGE tractor valued at $20,000 was allegedly stolen from a Robinvale address some time this week.
The Massey Ferguson 135 tractor, with a yellow forklift attached, went missing from the Anzac Road property some time between March 9 and 13.
Home burglary
CASH was discovered stolen from a Nyah West home in the past month.
The owner of the Monash Avenue home returned home on March 6 after being away for a number of weeks to find the offenders gained entry through a side door.
A small amount of cash appeared to have been stolen.
Drug possession
A MAN was found with drugs in Swan Hill on March 12.
A bag containing a white crystal substance was found on the man, who was arrested and interviewed.
