The Guardian
SWAN Hill police negotiated with a man who refused to leave his Swan Hill home late Sunday night.
Officers were called to conduct a welfare check on the man at his Curlewis Street address about 11pm.
The man was alone inside the residence and nearby neighbours were evacuated as a precaution.
The critical response team was on scene speaking with the man.
Local police were unavailable to comment before deadline.
