SWAN HILL

Possible theft: KEYS inadvertently left on a table on the corner of Curlewis and McCrae streets, Swan Hill went missing about 10.30am on Saturday.

The victim returned to the location to find that someone had picked them up, but they were not handed in to the surrounding businesses.

It was possible that the person who found the keys had handed them in somewhere, but if this is not the case and they do not take reasonable steps to locate the owner, they can be charged with theft.

Burglary: BETWEEN Wednesday and Friday last week, offenders gained entry to businesses in McCrae and McCallum streets in Swan Hill, police said.

BULOKE

BETWEEN Tuesday and Thursday last week, an offender gained entry to various buildings at a recreation reserve in Morris Street, Berriwillock, police said.

Investigation of the incident was ongoing.
