T20 wash out

THE opening weekend of Swan Hill District Cricket was called a washout on Friday morning because of rain this week.

A triple header was meant to be played at the Showgrounds for Round 1 of the McDonald’s T20 competition.

These games have been cancelled altogether and will not be rescheduled to a later date.

Friday night and Saturday morning, juniors also succumbed to the rain.

The start of the season will now be on Friday and Saturday, with all competitions juniors and seniors beginning besides C Grade.

A Grade will kick off with Round 1 of the Swan Hill District Cricket Association Kookaburra Cup with Nyah taking on Wandella, Ultima TUF playing Woorinen and Swan Hill doing battle against RSL while St Mary’s Tyntynder have the bye.
