TOOLEYBUC-Manangatang’s 16 and Under team put up a good fight against Kerang in the first grand final of the day, but couldn’t bridge the scoring gap.
The Blues maintained a lead throughout most of the match, going into the first break two goals ahead of the Saints. By three- quarter time that lead had extended to four goals, and the Blues were six goals ahead of the Saints at the final whistle to claim the premiership.
Kerang goal keeper Hallie Murphy, who applied an immense amount of defensive pressure and created a lot of opportunities for her team, was named best on court.
