Take the next step with Murray ACE

MURRAY ACE is often described as a “nice and happy place”.

Small class sizes allow the students to get close attention and have a close working relationship with their trainer, making it an extremely welcoming learning environment.

The best thing is that Murray ACE takes enrolments all year round, meaning you don’t have to wait to start a course.

“We welcome people of all ages here at Murray ACE,” Murray ACE training coordinator and compliance officer Ann Murray said. “Many people come to us in their 40s and 50s wanting to learn new skills for personal reasons or to change careers.”

Ms Murray wants to remind potential students that studying a course at Murray ACE is not like being in high school. “People get really scared, especially if they have had a hard time in high school,” she said. Murray ACE offers face-to-face teaching, and students who can’t make a class can Zoom in to learn.

All courses at Murray ACE are also offered in Kerang through the Kerang and District Community Centre.

Murray ACE is encouraging people to call in and have a chat about what they can offer the residents of Swan Hill and surrounding regions.

They are also encouraging adults of all ages in the region to discover the transformative effects of adult education. This coincides with Adult Learners’ Week, which celebrates the many ways learning can change lives.

“Adult Learners Week is the perfect time to come down to Murray ACE and take that first step to make a difference in your own life in a safe and supportive environment,” Murray ACE Centre Manager Leanne Shannon-Kelson said. For some, adult education may lead to a new job or career change – for others, it could be about gaining essential life skills, giving back to their community or building self-esteem, mental health and confidence.
