Appliance store gets bigger, Betta, brighter

SWAN Hill Betta Home Living celebrated the grand opening of its new Curlewis Street store on Friday.

The ribbon was cut and the store officially opened by owner Rob Basile with the help of Ian Ray, in a changing of the guard.

“I thought it would be fit that Ian was here, and he welcomed the opportunity to do so,” Mr Basile said.

The store stocks a wide range of furniture, bedding and whitegoods and the qualified team of friendly staff assist customers in any way that they can.

“We’re here to be a friendly store and help customers, whether they want to just come and have a browse or they want to purchase something,” Mr Basile said.

“We are happy to help them.”

Having an extensive background in both retail and electrical trade, Mr Basile said he was keen to see the Swan Hill Betta Home Living store up and running.

“I’m looking forward to being able to meet new customers and clients to give them what they want in service,” he said.

“I thrive on customer relationships. The customer relationship is more important than the sale at the end of the day.”
