THE Australian Electoral Commission has officially declared the result in the seat of Mallee, won by Nationals incumbent Anne Webster.
Dr Webster on Tuesday thanked the electorate of Mallee for putting their faith in her to represent them for the next three years.
“It is truly humbling to have the privilege to represent Mallee for another three years,” she said.
“I have always put the interests of our community first and will continue to fight hard to see Mallee get its fair share.
“There is a lot of work to be done over the next three years to hold the incoming government to account as Australia faces significant challenges.”
Dr Webster said she was focused on lobbying for Labor to support commitments to projects in the Mallee such as the Murray River Adventure Trail.
“I want to thank my community for their trust, my grassroots Nationals campaign team, my hard working staff and my wonderful husband and family for their tireless support,” she said.
