Theft of fuel from Nyah service station

Fuel theft

POLICE says they know who allegedly stole fuel from a Nyah service station last week.

Swan Hill police said in the early hours of June 14, two people in a red Hyundai Getz stopped to obtain fuel from the Murray Valley Highway service station.

The driver fled without paying for the fuel.

Officers have details of driver and vehicle.

Trespass was fleeing

A MAN who trespassed onto a Swan Hill property was fleeing from another person, police believe.

The incident happened in the early hours of June 20 at a Marks Street address.

The offender was charged with trespassing.

Wanted man found

A MAN wanted on warrants is on remand in the Swan Hill police station.

The male was arrested in Murlong Street on June 18.

It’s circumstances surrounding the warrants was unclear.

Luckless man

A LUCKLESS man will face questioning by police after drugs were allegedly found in a bag that he mistakenly left behind at the Swan Hill train station earlier this month.

Police said about 9pm on June 9, a man left his bag at the station and travelled to Mildura

His bag was handed to police who searched and located illicit drugs and prohibited weapons.

The owner is to be arrested and interviewed.

Hardware theft

A WOMAN was arrested after allegedly stealing hardware items.

The woman was arrested out the front of a retail premises in Beveridge Street about 12 noon on June 15.

Her bag was search, containing hardware items that had just been stolen.

She was conveyed to the Swan Hill police station for processing.

Drug admission

POLICE say a man admitted to possession cocaine.

A man suspected of using illicit drugs was searched about 9pm on June 12.

He had just exited a takeaway restaurant in Campbell Street, Swan Hill.

Located on this person was a small bag containing a white powder. The offender admitted it was cocaine.

The man was arrested.
