A GROUP of local organisations have come together this holiday season to provide support for the community.
Swan Hill Rotary Club, Sunrise Rotary Club, Business and Professional Women’s association, Country Women’s Association and Inner Wheel have all raised money through various initiatives, including the sale of raffle tickets.
The funds have been passed on to Mallee Family Care and Anglicare which will provide Coles gift cards to individuals and families in the area.
Denis Gell, one of the directors of the Rotary Club said this collaboration between the local organisations, MFC and Anglicare is a demonstration of how various organisations can come together for the common goal of supporting the community.
“We have seen an increase in demand this year and to see so many people come together to help is amazing,” she said.
