Positive endorsement from students, staff and parents

SWAN Hill Primary School has continued to be a very positive place to learn and work.

The school received very high levels of positive endorsement from students, staff and parents via confidential surveys, across the 2024 school year.

Students have excelled in both the academic and sporting arenas, with many of the school’s student achievement results, equal to or higher than the State average.

This year the school has sent more students to state level sporting competitions than ever before.

At Swan Hill Primary School, we place a significant emphasis on respecting diversity and treating everyone kindly and fairly.

Our 2024 Student Survey rated our school higher than those schools considered similar to ours, the Network School and State average in the area of Effective Classroom Behaviour and Managing Bullying. Our staff rated Swan Hill Primary School above all other school comparison groups in the area of School Climate.

The school has engaged an expert in staff wellbeing and performance, Dr Adam Fraser, to ensure the school is providing work conditions, in which staff can perform at their best.

At Swan Hill Primary School we believe that if our staff are performing at their best our students will too.

This year, the school’s major fundraiser was the Colour Run, which was a huge success. We raised a considerable amount of funds thanks to the support of our families and broader school community and more importantly, our students loved the experience.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish our Grade 6 students all the very best for secondary school and beyond and thank their families for partnering with us, over the last seven years.
