MURRAY DOWNS LADIES

SEVENTY-NINE ladies enjoyed perfect autumn conditions at Murray Downs on Wednesday.

Against par was the event as Sue Davis took out the major daily prize on a score of two up from her 21 handicap, runner-up in A Grade was Norma Everett (24) square.

Robyn Bett (27) was the B Grade winner on one up followed by Bev West square and the C Grade leaders were Jenny White (35) one up and Mary Johnson (35) square.

Naomi Domaille, Janette Tucker, Elaine Barrett and Eilleen Willox, all square, led the ball countdown.

Gaye Legudi birdied the 12th hole to claim the birdies nest and the lucky shots on the par threes were executed by Maree Thurwood, Diane Martin, Maralyn Morrison and Shelley Wilkins.

Par was also Saturday’s Competition as the winners all scored square.

Lynne Bishop (17) and Janette Tucker (23) were successful in Division 1 as Belinda Gardner (31) and Barb Clark (25) were the Division 2 winners.

Dione Thompson one down led the ball pool and NTPs went to Jenice Krahnert, Lynne Bishop, Kristy Gordon, Sue Davis and Marg Moore.

Junior Audrey Domaille continues to improve and took out Sunday’s prize on 38 points from her 47 handicap, next best were Sue Davis on 36 points and Kristy Gordon on 35 points.

The next major event at Murray Downs is the qualifying four ball for the Champions of the Murray set for April 13.
