SWAN Hill police on foot patrol arrested a man for drug possession on September 23.
Leading Senior Constable Andrew Downes said police spoke to the man, who was playing poker machines at a local venue but not wearing a mask.
Sen-Constable Downes said the man was carrying a bumbag that contained a white crystal powder and had a knife in one pocket.
Boundary fence damage
POLICE are seeking assistance to identify people responsible for damaging a section of a new boundary fence in Swan Hill. The Burton Street fence was kicked in about 3pm on September 24.
Alcohol snatched
A MAN walked out of a McCrae Street, Swan Hill, business without paying for a bottle of alcohol on September 25. Swan Hill police Leading Senior Constable Andrew Downes said police were seeking information on the identity of the man, who visited the store about 3pm.
Plates stolen
NUMBERPLATES were removed from a vehicle parked on Woorinen-Goschen Road between 10am and noon on September 25.
Theft from vehicle
TWO fuel cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on Dunstone Street, Swan Hill, on September 19 or 20.
Signs taken
PROMOTIONAL signs worth $6000 were removed from a licensed premises in Birchip between September 25 and 26. Police said offenders had removed three beer signs from outside the premises by cutting a wire.
Neighbour injured
A PERSON will appear in court following an altercation between neighbours in Charlton on September 15. Leading Senior Constable Andrew Downes said the victim became involved in an argument that developed into a physical assault. He said the victim sustained minor injuries.
