Tigers maul the Gunners

THE Tooley Tigers have made easy work of the RSL Gunners at the Tooleybuc Hotel on Wednesday night.

It was quite a one-sided affair with some great darts among it all.

For the Tooley Tigers, Kyle Adamson threw a 180 while Bruce Wilson threw a 171.

For the Gunners, Tobias Bacon who won the only game for his team, did it with some impressive pegging of 3/66 and 3/50.

The Tigers took the night 8 to 1.

AT the Swan Hill Club, the SHC Blazers took on the new look Let’s Get Pegged.

Let’s Get Pegged got off to a flying start winning three of the four doubles games up for grabs.

They again started the doubles well with a win, only needing another to guarantee they took out the night.

It wasn’t to be as the Blazers scratched out wins in the last three singles, to take it to a decider in the teams.

In the teams, the Blazers lifted their game and managed to throw five tons plus scores to give them the game and ultimately the win, 5 to 4.

It was a very closely fought evening with all four of the singles going to three legs.

Blazers Maddison Munro threw the highest peg for the night for the ladies with a 3/82 while her teammate Rohan Ward threw a very lucky 3/94, the best for the men’s.

Also, for the Blazers, Marc Williams threw a 180.

Apologies to Chris Conlan from Let’s Get Pegged, for my failing to mentioning his 180 last week.
