UPDATED Cohuna Kangas report that A POSITIVE COVID-19 case attended the CMFNL round six match at Cohuna last Saturday

There is now confirmation of a Tier 2 Exposure site at Cohuna Football Netball Club on Saturday 22th May, 2021 between the hours of 1200-1700 hours. Instructions are for anyone who attended this match / site to get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result and remain symptom free.

Swan Hill District Health are aware a person with a positive COVID-19 case attended the Cohuna football netball match, against Tooleybuc-Manangatang football netball club last Saturday.

The hospital said they were waiting for confirmation  from DHHS on the time exposure and to wait for further information.

A POSITIVE COVID-19 case attended the CMFNL round six match at Cohuna last Saturday.

Cohuna Kangas today  released a statement on Facebook that they received information an attendee at the football and netball match against Tooleybuc-Manangatang Football Netball Club has since tested positive to COVID-19.

The club said they were waiting for an official announcement from authorities and more information will be provided once this announcement has been made.

“There is a bit of mixed information getting around the community and we ask that people await official confirmation from the DHHS as to what the next steps are for people who attended the game on Saturday,” the club said.
“It’s likely that anyone who attended the games on Saturday will be asked to get tested.

“We are awaiting confirmation of the isolation requirements for people who get tested.”

They said the Cohuna Complex has been closed until further notice and will undergo a deep clean facilitated by the Gannawarra Shire Council.
