Living Legend Turns 90
Our very own Moulamein born and bred living legend, Peter Jackson, turned 90 this week.
A good crowd gathered on Sunday to help him celebrate. It was the first time his 27 great grand children had all got
together.
I think at least one of them was too busy catching cod to worry about his cousins. He kept bringing them up to show everyone before letting them go again.
Even though Jacko has turned 90, do not get between him and the BBQ, as he still cooks most of the BBQ feeds around town, as well as plenty of other jobs.
Jacko would do more if the family would let him, but they are trying to get him to slow down a bit.
Thanks for all you do for our town Jacko. See you in 10 years if I make it. I know you will.
Just a few drops
It was not quite the break that we were hoping for as there was only about 10ml in our town. You did not have to go far east and they were up to 20-40mls. Our turn next time.
River Levels
The Edward is fairly steady at the moment at just over 2200 megs a day, and just over 2.1 metres.
After the rain there is a bit starting to happen at the top of the Murrumbidgee. The next two days will be interesting.
