THE Swan Hill Dart Association 2024-25 Wednesday competition started this week, with the Ultima Bullchuckers unable to field a team this season meaning the competition is down to five teams with a bye each week.
Due to other commitments, the RSL Gunners had to forfeit the first round match, which left only one game played.
The RSL Have A Goes played host to Let’s Get Pegged at the Swan Hill RSL Club, with the Have A Goes getting away to their usual good start by winning three of the four doubles games.
All of the singles matches were hotly contested and close, but once again, the Have A Goes claimed three of the four wins on offer as well as the teams event to claim a 7-2 win on the night.
All players from both teams threw 100+s, with quite a few throwing 140s, while the highest peg for the night was a 3/66 by Tosh Gleeson, with Terry McDonald throwing the shortest game with a 23 darter.
