POLICE are hunting an offender who allegedly stole 10 firearms from a Swan Hill property last Thursday night.
Swan Hill crime investigation unit Detective Senior Constable Adrian Gordon said the offender forced entry into the property between 11pm and 12 midnight.
“Shotguns and rifles that were secured in a safe were stolen during the burglary,” Det Snr-Const Gordon said.
No one was home at the time.
Meanwhile, police are investigating an alleged home invasion in Swan Hill sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.
The offender forced entry into the property while the victim was asleep between 11am Sunday and 3am Monday.
Cash and household items were stolen.
“We need the public’s assistance to stop these burglaries and apprehend those responsible,” Det Snr-Const Gordon said.
