BALRANALD’S Karl Jacka managed to inspire the people closest to him at his own funeral, a talent which personified the loved man.
The 35-year-old lost his fight with stomach cancer last month and more than 3000 people were in attendance at his funeral on Friday.
Balranald local Brogan Carter said his final send of was “bittersweet” but his final word, a video, changed her life forever.
“He has changed my whole perspective on life. His words ‘attitude is a choice’ is something which will stick with me forever and is something I’ll remind myself every day,” she said.
