THE future of women’s football in the Mallee is looking bright after a Balranald football player signed on to a future prospects deal with the Greater Western Sydney Giants.
The Roos’ Jordyn Jolliffe, 16, has spent time with the Giants and represented the club in a development program of just 32 players.
The program is aimed at preparing players like Jordyn for the heights of AFLW in years to come and the centre-half forward is widely picked to be drafted when she nominates.
Speaking to The Guardian, the talented player said she wasn’t getting ahead of herself but things were looking up for her career.
