The Mallee Eagles Football and Netball Club officials are overjoyed by the appointments of Dean Helmers and Andrew McDonald to the roles of Senior Football Coach and Assistant Coach for 2017.
Mallee Eagles chairman Geoff Kendell said the club worked extremely hard to find the right people to lead the club into the future.
“Dean comes to the club with an outstanding record of achievements in the Riddells District Football League and beyond.
“His knowledge of the game is very highly respected in coaching circles and with playing stints with Rupertswood, TAC Western Jets, Geelong, Macedon and in Darwin.
“His experience will be a huge benefit to our list of younger players,” Kendell said.
