Another house fire in the Swan Hill region on Friday has sparked an urgent call from fire authorities, who have urged residents to be fire safe.
The blaze on Lake Road, Woorinen South was the fourth home to be destroyed by fire in the past two months.
Fire crews from Beverford, Nyah, Swan Hill and Woorinen South were called to the blaze just before 2.30pm to find the single-storey weatherboard home engulfed in flames.
It took about 32 firefighters more than half-an-hour to bring it under control
Woorinen South CFA captain Eddie Earle said the entire roof cavity was gutted.
